They had received one offer which was a massive £200K below the asking price and understandably they had become frustrated with the whole situation. They contacted VMR home staging for help. After a telephone consultation the client requested a two hour consultation at the address to formulate a plan of action to assist with making the property more appealing to potential buyers. During the consultation we discussed their experience of the process to date including feedback received from previous viewings. One piece of feedback had highlighted the confusing layout of the property as it was currently lived in as two separate dwellings, split down the middle.
VMR HomeStaging addressed each room of the property constructively, identifying positive and negative features and considered how to present the property in its best possible light whilst improving the flow to alleviate confusion. Following the consultation the client requested our comprehensive report which contains a step-by-step plan of action so they could address the points in their own time.
The property was taken off the market for a few months while they addressed the content of the report.
